FAMILIES will remember their lost babies and children during a charity walk later this month.

Child Bereavement UK's annual Snowdrop Walk returns to Norton Priory Museum and Gardens in Runcorn on Sunday, February 17.

The event is held in memory of babies and children who have died, and is also for youngsters who have experienced bereavement.

Following the walk, participants are invited to plant a snowdrop to remember their loves one and sign of book of remembrance.

There will also be refreshment and a treasure hunt, with children who take part all receiving a goodie bag.

The event runs from 11am to 3pm, and entry is free.

Based in Widnes, Child Bereavement UK is a charity that supports families when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying or when a child is facing bereavement.

Senior events fundraiser Emma Riley said: "Our annual Snowdrop Walk is a very special event for the many people who attend.

"It's a great opportunity to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenery while also helping Child Bereavement UK to support bereaved families to rebuild their lives."
