A COFFEE shop in Northwich town centre is encouraging its customers to get in touch with their creative sides.
Abda’s Cafe in Crown Street has an art gallery upstairs, run by Zoe Corker.
Now the cafe is looking to bridge the gap between the two by launching a sketch challenge for 2019.
Pots of pencils and paper will be put on tables in the cafe and a list of themes for each month accompanies them, in the hope that customers will unwind with a cup of coffee and doodle away.
Zoe said: “It’s such a chilled environment here in the cafe and I think it’s a perfect space to sit, stop what you’re doing and just draw.
“My husband is an artist and I know, sometimes they need a little push in the right direction. Hopefully this will inspire people and we can show just how many creative and talented people there are in Northwich.
“We’ve already got some great drawings and we’ll be dotting them around the place too.”
