AN ACCIDENT on the M56 caused delays for commuters this morning, Thursday.
There was heavy traffic after a collision between two vehicles which happened eastbound between junction 11 at Preston Brook and junction 10 at Stretton.
Lane three was blocked after the incident was first reported at about 8.20am but re-opened by 9am.
