STAFF at Tesco in Widnes donated gifts as a Christmas surprise for residents living at Madeline McKenna Court Residential Home.
The care home on Haddon Drive held a festive party on December 22 where families, friends, and PSCOs from Hough Green police were invited to attend.
Veronica Francisco, from Madeline McKenna Court Residential Home, said: "During the party two staff members came from Tesco arrived with gifts for the residents at Madeline McKenna.
"They were all beautifully wrapped. All the residents were delighted – especially on Christmas morning when they were opening them.
"We all want to say thank you so much to Tesco for their kindness over the festive period.
"It was a wonderful surprise to us all to us all to be nominated to receive these gifts."
