A SWIMMING club has helped to raise funds to support coach Mark Godfrey’s marathon challenge later this year.
Runcorn Reps celebrated the end of the year with its annual Christmas party and, at the same time raised money, for Claire House Children’s Hospice which is Mark’s chosen charity for his marathon attempt in London.
The team also hosted the annual Club Championships.
This year coach Suzanne Kerr was voted as the Swimmers Choice for Coach of the Year as well as revealing the new team captains. The team also raised a further £50 for Halton Haven Hospice.
