FORMER Warrington Wolves half back Andrew Johns has talked of suffering with seizures following his collapse in a coffee shop on Friday.

He told the Sunday Telegraph in Australia that he is seeing doctors and is on medication.

Johns, who represented Newcastle Knights, New South Wales and Australia during an illustrious career Down Under, was on holiday in Yamba, a surfing town on the northern coast of New South Wales, when the latest seizure occurred.

"I've got some medical stuff going on," Johns said, when contacted by The Sunday Telegraph.

"They're seizures that have been going on a while.

"I'm seeing the right doctors and they are doing all the tests and have got me on medication."

Johns was treated at the coffee shop by paramedics, said a bystander.

The incident has raised speculation in the media Down Under about the impact of head injuries in sport.

Johns went public about his battle with bipolar disorder in 2007.

Almost four months ago he became a father for the third time, welcoming his first daughter into the world with partner Kate Kendall.

Johns has two sons, one from each of his two marriages.
