THIS stunning Christmas light display in Widnes is proving popular on social media with many families making the trip to see it.
Husband and wife team Steve and Toni Thorne put the lights up in time for a big switch-on earlier this month at their bungalow on Bancroft Road.
Steve is an electrical technician and did all the work on the display with all proceeds going to homeless charities.

Toni added: "This is our third year doing the lights and every year it has got bigger.
"It now covers both bungalows and many more decorations have been added since these pictures were taken.
"Please come along and show your support and thank you to everyone."
The lights will be on until new year from 4.30pm until 9.30pm every evening.
