A CASTLE Street firm is rounding off its celebrations of a quarter of a century in business.

Lock-tec was established by Glen Whalley in 1993 – initially from his home in Warrington before getting a long-awaited move to Northwich in 1998.

The company spend 15 years at its Dane Street premises, next to CRS Consultants, before moving to a newly-refurbished building at the bottom of Castle Street in the spring of 2013.

This month has seen it mark a 25 year anniversary, with a decade having passed since Lock-tec became a limited company and stalwart Paul Tattum joined as a director.

Marking the milestone, Glen said: “I am extremely grateful for the many years’ service from our dedicated team.

“Being surrounded by experienced and loyal staff that are proficient in their area of expertise has made me extremely proud of where we are and what we have achieved.

“If we can offer advice or support, please do not hesitate to make contact with one of Lock-tec’s experienced team.”

The company boasts expertise in the fields of access control, locksmithing, key cutting and programming, and safes and security.
