EAST Runcorn MP Mike Amesbury paid a visit to Woodside Primary School.

The Shadow Employment Minister and MP for Weaver Vale was given a tour of the school and also had a question and answer session with pupils.

Mr Amesbury described it as a 'hugely enjoyable visit'.

He said: "I really loved seeing and hearing all about the good work being done at Woodside, it’s clear the staff are passionate about the work they do.

“From education policy to foodbank use, some of the questions from the pupils were absolutely brilliant too.

"It never ceases to amaze me just how insightful our young people are and just how passionate they are about our country, our future and the communities we live in.”
