TWO martial arts students have scored success at a national competition.
Ben Heston and Amy Dobie, both 12 and from Widnes, collected gold and bronze medals after competing in the Matt Fiddes Martial Arts British Championships in Swindon.
More than 600 competitors entered the competition from across the country and showed off their skills to an audience of more than 1,000 people.
Organiser and chief instructor Steve James said he was so proud of his students. “The team have all trained so hard for this day and for Ben and Amy to win medals is such a fantastic achievement, I am so proud of them,” he said.
