A DRUG driver has been banned after testing positive for cocaine behind the wheel.
Craig Vegas, of Ley Crescent, Astley, admitted to taking the class A drug when he was stopped by police in Torquay on July 25.
The 41-year-old has been disqualified from driving for 16 months, fined £600, and ordered to pay a victim services surcharge fee of £60 and court costs of £85.
He was sentenced at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court yesterday, Monday.
