OFFICERS at Cheshire Police got on their bikes and cycled miles to raise money for Children in Need.
Sgt Grahame Robinson, from Widnes Police, and PC Richard Whitehead, from Warrington Police joined in with the charity's Rickshaw Challenge which sees cyclists travel as many miles as they can to fundraise.
Matt Baker, presenter of BBC's flagship The One Show, joined six young people travelling 423 miles across the country on a custom-made Rickshaw bike, throughout this week ahead of Friday's live Children in Need appeal.
Richard and Grahame met the presenter while on their travels throughout Cheshire.
PC Whitehead said: "I think it is important to promote positives in the police force and in the community.
"We wanted to go the extra mile because the children who Children in Need support are amazing.
"Matt Baker is such a genuine chap and it is to support his whole campaign.
"Our colleagues, family and friends have all been donating."
