A PRIMARY School in Haydock has converted into an academy.
A delegated decision has been taken by a St Helens Council officer to approve the Commercial Transfer Agreement to enable the conversion of St James’ CE Primary School to academy status.
A Commercial Transfer Agreement is required as part of the academy conversion process.
The school will become part of the Liverpool Diocesan Schools Trust.
A notice on the council’s website says: “St James’ CE Primary School intends to convert to become an academy from October 2018.
“The school will become part of the Liverpool Diocesan Schools Trust.”
