BUILDING company Taylor Wimpey is calling on the community to support a food drive in support of Widnes Foodbank.
The donation stations, which will run until Friday, November 30, will be located inside the sales offices at its developments across the region.
Stuart Craig, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey north west, said: “The number of people turning to food banks is rising year on year and it’s important that we support those who find themselves in this devastating situation.
“We know that the community spirit is strong in the areas close to where we build, which is why we know that we will all pull together to donate to those less fortunate.
“Widnes Food Bank is a wonderful organisation that does so much for so many. We’ll also be showing our support by collecting donations at our head office.
“I’d encourage anyone who’d like to donate to bring as much as they can down to the developments mentioned over the next couple of weeks and hopefully, we can really make a difference to the less fortunate members of our community.”
