I AM writing about The Trans- Pennine Trail which is used both by residents and people from across the country.
As a shared use route it should be a suitable width for cyclists and walkers to pass safely.
One section, about 35cm wide at best near Chester Road, is far from that standard.
It is narrow and slippery.
The council is responsible for the section of trail which passes through the borough.
I have tried several times to rouse them from their apathy.
A waste of time.
What must visitors think?
What do you think?
