A 14-YEAR-OLD boy suffered facial injuries after being attacked by two teenagers outside a pub in Widnes.
The boy was walking to a bus stop on Liverpool Road on November 5 at 3.30pm when he was assaulted.
The culprits then ran off in an unknown direction.
The victim was taken to hospital with injuries to his face.
Detective constable Chris Sheffield said: “This was an unprovoked assault in broad daylight as the teenager walked home from school.
“I believe there would have been people in the area at the time who could have either witnessed the incident or have information which could help us with our investigation.
“If you can help please call 101.”
