THE Children’s Adventure Farm Trust will launch their first selection box appeal and they need your help to bring smiles to the faces of hundreds of ill, disabled or disadvantaged children this Christmas.

Each year the charity invites children from all over the north west to their base in Cheshire for a day of festive fun and this year they’re aiming to help more children than before.

Between November 19 and December 19, they will be providing parties for in the region of 1,200 children, every one of which will leave with arms full of gifts and treats.

Selection boxes can be dropped off at Halton Borough Council’s Disabled Children’s Service in Widnes and Fleek Hair and Beauty Salon in Runcorn Old Town until December 14.

Helen Crowther, from the charity, said: “Each year we bring the fun of Christmas into the lives of children who sadly don’t enjoy the festivities as all children should.

"We do everything in our power to ensure that they experience all of the fun and joy that Christmas can bring, and an important part of that is their visit to Santa and the sweet treats they can take home with them.

"We’re so grateful to Runcorn and Widnes World for supporting this appeal and for our friends at Halton Borough Council and Fleek Hair & Beauty Salon for their fantastic support."
