FIRE crews were called to a fire at a chemical plant on Saturday morning.
Fire engines from Widnes, Runcorn, Warrington and Penketh were called to the plant on Dan's Road in Widnes.
Crews, wearing two breathing apparatus, used one foam branch and one hose reel jet to bring the fire under control.
They then checked the area using a thermal imaging camera and made sure it was safe and the fire was fully extinguished.
Firefighters were in attendance for around three hours.
