A RUNCORN businesswoman has been recognised for her success as an entrepreneur.

Chantelle Holland was awarded with a #WOW badge – a competition that runs each week called Women on Wednesday on Twitter to celebrate the growing number of UK female entrepreneurs and businesswomen.

The entrepreneur launched Chantilly Bloom at the start of the year after graduating with a 2:1 in fashion design with textiles and freelancing in the industry.

She said: "Due to popular demand I decided to start my own business.

"I love making bespoke, made to measure outfits that make women feel confident. All of our dresses are made in my home studio on Greenway Road, Runcorn.

"I've made dresses for proms, Aintree races, bridal, bridesmaids, mother of the bride, just to name a few already this year.

Jacqueline Gold, who set up Women on Wednesday in 2011, said: "Chantilly Bloom designs and creates ready-to-wear and bespoke clothing for ladies and young girls alike.

"Chantelle's passion for fashion adds that special touch to the items she produces and I wish her every success with the future of her business.

"For me, #WOW is all about inspiring and celebrating female entrepreneurs.

"My vision is for women in the UK to come together, celebrate their strengths, skills and fantastic businesses, and do all that they can to inspire other women to realise their potential."
