Casualty suffers minor burns after boxes catch fire on M56
A CASUALTY suffered minor burns yesterday when boxes caught fire on the hard shoulder of the M56 motorway.
At approximately 2.20pm on Saturday, firefighters from Runcorn and Warrington responded to reports of a fire on the M56 between junctions 11 and 10.
Crews used a single hose reel to extinguish the flames.
One casualty suffered minor burns in the incident.
