AN EARLY morning arson attack has targeted a lorry in Widnes.
This morning, Friday, at 1.13am, fire crews were called to a HGV vehicle which was on fire on Warrington Road.
On arrival, crews from both Widnes and Penketh found the cab of the lorry well alight.
One crew wore breathing apparatus and used a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze.
The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.
Anyone with information is urged to call Cheshire Police.
