FIRE crews were busy last night after attending two fires in less than an hour.
One engine was called to Castle Rise at 10.45pm after a report of a fire in a metal trough and used an extended hose reel to put out the flames.
Less than an hour later at around 11.20pm, another crew was called to a small car fire on Moscardini Close.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus put out the blaze using a hose reel jet.
