AN eight-year-old boy was taken to hospital after a serious crash in New Brighton.
Emergency services were called to Kings Parade at around 6.45pm on Tuesday, September 25 following reports that a boy had been hit by a red Kia Picanto.
The boy was taken to hospital with serious injuries by paramedics.
He is believed to be in a stable condition.
The driver, a woman in her 50s, stopped at the scene and is assisting police with enquiries.
