A litter pick and craft event will take place on Spike Island tomorrow, Saturday.
VOLUNTEERS are wanted for a litter pick on Spike Island this weekend.
A family litter pick and craft event has been organised by the newly-formed Friends of Spike Island and Victoria Promenade.
The fun day – which takes place from 10am to 3pm on Saturday, September 22 – will featuring face painting, keyring making, rock decorating, refreshments and an appearance from Widnes Vikings mascot Kemik.
All litter pickers will receive half price admission to the Catalyst Museum on the day.
Gloves, bags and litter picking sticks will be provided.
