Emily Dunbar, 14, has been attending classes at the Karina Burns Dance Academy in Widnes since she was aged just three.
Now she has been accepted onto the elite dance training course at Liverpool College, beating off hundreds of other young hopefuls.
Academy principal Karina Burns said: “It is Emily’s dream to be a professional dancer, and all the staff at KBDA wish her all the best in her future journey.”
Emily competed at the prestigious Janet Cram Modern Championships Final aged 12, and was named the competition’s most promising dancer.
She has studied ballet, musical theatre, lyrical, tap, modern and commercial dance.
