THE family of a murdered teenager have paid tribute to the 'much-loved son and brother'.

Eddie O'Rourke, 18, died after sustaining a serious injury in an altercation outside the Royal British Legion in Halton Village on Friday.

His mum Jane White has paid tribute to the youngster who will be 'greatly missed'.

In a statement, she said: Eddie was a very much loved son and brother who will be greatly missed by us all."

Meanwhile, two teenagers from Runcorn appeared in court this morning, Tuesday, charged with the Eddie's murder.

Three teens - aged 15, 16 and 17 - were arrested following the incident.

The 15-year-old and 17-year-old have since been charged with murder and appeared at Warrington Magistrates Court this morning.

They were remanded in custody and are now due to appear before Chester Crown Court tomorrow, Wednesday.

The 16-year-old, who was also arrested on suspicion of murder, has since been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.

None of the teenagers can be named for legal reasons.
