A PHOTOGRAPHY shop in Runcorn has celebrated its 30th birthday.
The Snap Shop, on Langdale Road, first opened its doors on September 5 1988 and is still going strong three decades later.
Julie and Martin Leitch first set up the business at their then home in Warrington in 1987, before moving into the former butcher's shop the following year.
And photography runs in the family, with Julie's dad Ken Gange having run a successful photography business in Warrington for a number of years.
The pair have lived in Runcorn since their business moved to the town.
Martin said: "It's been a great experience starting and running the Snap Shop.
"We'd like to thank all our customers past, present and future.
"As with all businesses, we have had to move with the times and the advent of technology - especially in photography - has proved to be both exciting and challenging.
"On the photography side, the latest technology provides so many options for creativity - it's wonderful."
