THE grieving family of a mum-of-two whose death is being treated as 'unexplained' have paid tribute to the 'wonderful mother, daughter and sister'.
Emma Lewis, 44, died at her home in Holly Hedge Lane, Walton, near Daresbury, on the night of July 26 or on the morning of July 27.
In a statement, her parents said: “As a family we have been devastated by the tragic loss of our daughter.
“She was a wonderful mother, daughter and sister.
“Her death has been hard to come to terms with and we respectfully request some privacy at this very sad time.”
Cheshire Police launched a murder investigation after the 44-year-old's body was discovered at a house on July 27.

DI Kate Tomlinson said: “My heart goes out to Emma's family at this incredibly difficult time and my officers are committed to establishing the exact circumstances of what happened.
“Enquiries are ongoing and I ask the media not to speculate on the circumstances of Emma’s death as we continue to piece together what happened on the night.”
A 46-year-old man, from Warrington, was arrested in connection with Emma’s death.
He has been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
