Paramedics were called to the scene
ONE person was taken to hospital following a crash in Appleton on Friday.
Police were called to reports of a two vehicle collision on London Road at 5pm involving a grey fiat Punto and a blue Suzuki wagon.
This caused congestion in the area near the London Bridge pub.
The casualty was taken to Warrington Hospital as a precautionary measure, although they are not believed to have sustained any serious injuries.
