Firefighters are tacking fire at an industrial building on Ditton Road in Widnes
FIREFIGHTERS are dealing with a fire in an industrial building in Widnes.
Crews were called to the incident on Ditton Road shortly before 9am.
The fire involves a corrugated metal shed, around 15 metres by 15 metres, which is well alight.
Crews are using two hose reel jets and one main jet to tackle the fire and are still at the scene.
Firefighters are using one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and one breathing apparatus to search for hotspots within the building.
The fire has caused substantial damage to the building.
Crews spent three hours dealing with the incident.
