FIREFIGHTERS were called to reports of a kitchen fire last night, Friday, on Halebank Road.
One fire engine from Widness attended the scene at 7:41pm.
On arrival, they found the property had become smokelogged due to the iron being left on the hob.
A positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear the smoke from the house.
