Person rescued from car after crash
FIRE crews rescued a person from their car after it crashed into a tree last night.
A fire engine from Widnes and another from Penketh attended the incident on Fiddlers Ferry Road in Widnes just before 5.30pm yesterday, Saturday, March 10.
They helped the person escape their vehicle and paramedics attended to them.
Crews were at the scene for 50 minutes.
