And after putting together an incredibly inspirational gallery, we have decided to do the same again this year with our Class of 2018 Super Slimmers.

Lois Hart's story

Start weight: 15st 13lb (June 2015)
Current weight: 9st 1lb

I used the myfitnesspal app to calculate my calories whilst healthy eating, I had around 1,200-1,400 calories a day.

The lower amount if I didn't exercise and the higher amount if I did.

The only exercise I did was walking and cardio at home using the Wii fit.

I would walk around 5 miles up to three days a week.

I reached my target of 6st 7lb loss in April 2017 and carried on healthy eating but having around 1,600 calories a day and i have since lossed another 5lb so a 6st 12lb loss overall.

David Pennington's story

I started my weight loss journey nearly 5 years ago.

I was touching nearly 19 stone.

I was depressed, out of breath and health issues so I decided to do something about it .

My sister told me to join Slimming World and ever since then I have never looked back.

I am now 6.5 stone lighter than I was and I feel great.
