Firefighters tackle chimney fire in Widnes
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a chimney fire in Widnes.
Crews used a thermal imaging camera to identify the hot spot in a chimney on Hale Road shortly before 11am yesterday.
They then used tools to remove soot and brick to prevent heat buildind up in the chimney.
