MOTORPOINT has celebrated its third anniversary by extending its sponsorship of Widnes Vikings for another Super League season.

The car supermarket, which has a branch on Derby Road in Widnes, will team up with the Betfred Super League outfit for the forthcoming 2018 season, which kicks off against the Catalan Dragons on Sunday, February 4.

The Motorpoint logo will now appear on the collar of the club home and away shirts as well as all replica shirts.

Additional branding will be present in the TV facing arc as well as in the matchday programme and club website.

Motorpoint will also be working with the club as the executive match sponsor for the Widnes Vikings v St Helens game at Easter in a bid to generate the highest ever recorded attendance at the Select Security Stadium.

Kevin Cartwright, general manager of Motorpoint Widnes, said: “We thought what better way to celebrate our third birthday than by announcing our continued support of the Widnes Vikings ahead of the new Betfred Super League season.

“We are particularly excited about our plans for the Widnes Vikings v St Helens game which we hope result in the highest ever number of people through the door at the Select Security Stadium.”
