A BOOK fair has been helped to fund new resources for a Widnes school.
Students and staff at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic College were able to browse through a selection of titles.
The latest and best-selling fiction and non fiction books as well as stationery, posters and book bags were on sale.
The event was held at the Wilson Centre, the college’s learning resource centre on Highfield Road.
Learning resource lead Clare Quick “It has been wonderful to see so many of our students excited about new books.
“Students have told me they can’t wait to start reading their new books.
“And with books sold earning book rewards for the college it means we can update our own library collection which is great news for the students.”
