A DRUG dealer has been jailed for four years and two months for supplying heroin and cocaine in Widnes.
Phillip Harrison, 32, of Hollybank Grange, Halewood, pleaded guilty at Liverpool Crown Court on November 17 to possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, heroin and cocaine, and acquiring criminal property.
He was sentenced on Tuesday.
Harrison was arrested after officers carried out a successful drugs warrant at his address in October.
The warrant was executed following information that was passed on by members of the public.
Police found 42 wraps of cocaine and 26 wraps of heroin and more than £9,000 in cash inside his home and car.
The items were seized and taken away for forensic examination.
Harrison was subsequently charged with the offences.
Detective Constable Deborah Carter said: “This is a great result and shows the value of information that is passed on by members of the public.
“In this case, we acted on the intelligence about Harrison dealing drugs from his car in the Widnes area and this has helped to secure a conviction at court and taken these drugs off the streets.”
Anyone with any information about illegal drugs in their area should contact Cheshire Police on 101.
Information can also be passed on anonymously, through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
