A TEENAGER has been charged with an attempted robbery in Runcorn.
Jordan Johnson, 18, of Albert Road, Widnes, has been charged with attempted robbery and possessing an offensive weapon.
It follows an incident in which a man was threatened with a knife in an attempted robbery on Chester Close Castlefields at around 2pm on November 9.
Johnson was remanded in custody and will appear at Chester Crown Court on December 15.
A 17-year-old man from Runcorn was arrested on suspicion of robbery and has since been released under investigation.
