FORMER classmates from Kingsway Secondary Modern and Wade Deacon High Schools in Widnes are having a reunion 40 years since they left school.
Pupils who attended between 1972 and 1977 are invited to a nostalgic get-together on Saturday, September 30 at 7.30pm in The Village Social Club Bar, Appleton Village, Widnes.
As children they started at Kingsway in 1972 and moved on to Wade Deacon.
Many have not seen each other since they said goodbye at the school gates for the last time in 1977.
Organisers say this is a great opportunity to catch up, reminisce and renew old friendships.
Former pupils should contact Patricia Curtis nee Lord for Kingsway School on Facebook or call 0151 538 5223 (evening only) or John Wharton for Wade Deacon on Facebook.
