THE new Weaver Vale MP Mike Amesbury has been sworn into Parliament.
He secured a clear victory in the General Election, winning a decisive 51 per cent of the vote, reclaiming the seat for the Labour Party.
Speaking from Westminster Mr Amesbury said: “It is an honour and a privilege to have been chosen by the people of Weaver Vale to represent them in House of Commons.
“I look forward to serving the whole of the community, and being their voice in Parliament in the future.”
Mr Amesbury is holding a constituency surgery at Runcorn Shopping Centre tomorrow Friday, June 23.
