A HOUSE caught fire in Widnes.
Firefighters discovered a well-developed fire on Shelton Close at around 3pm on Sunday.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to put out the flames.
A high pressure fan was used to clear the smoke.
Crews were at the scene for just under two hours.
Refuse was torched on Rowan Close, Runcorn shortly before 6.30pm yesterday.
