A FORMER post office in Widnes has been transformed into 12 luxury homes for vulnerable adults with learning, mental health, and physical disabilities.

Signature House on Widnes Road offers first class accommodation for people who need supported living.

The homes are all fully furnished with exclusive interior design by Elaine Cunningham Design Studio.

Special feature include full assisted technology, wet rooms, induction hobs, and Sky TV.

Tenants will also benefit from an on-site 24 hour care provider as well as a full double security entry system with CCTV.

The development was created by Bryan Developments in cooperation with Halton Council and Halton Clinical Consulting Group (CCG) to provide the best living environments for vulnerable and disabled adults.

Dave Sweeney, deputy chief officer at Halton CCG, said: “My draw is to focus on the more vulnerable in the community and give those clients the opportunity to live as rich a life as possible.

“Signature House was a great opportunity to do something within that framework.”

Director of Bryan Development, Rob Bryan, said: “Signature House is an extremely important development which offers a new standard of luxury living for vulnerable adults who have ongoing care needs.

“It is so important that there is a high standard of housing stock which caters for those with specific requirements who wish to live independently in a property for life.

“With the support of Halton Council and Halton CCG the new development provides integrated housing, health and social care provision for residents and has created a new community for the local area.

“The homes have been incredibly well received so far and I have been delighted and uplifted by the reaction of the tenants who we will shortly be welcoming into their homes.”

Only four one bedroom apartments are now left for rent.
