A NEW nursery is set to open up in a former Runcorn pub.
Early Learners Nursery, situated in the former Railway Hotel building on Lowlands Road, will open its doors next month creating 10 jobs.
The nursery, catering for kids aged between two and four, will have space for 56 little ones – including a six-place baby room, a 26-place toddler room and a 24-place preschool classroom.
Owner Hayden McCann said: “It’s an exciting time for Early Learners and we are here to support the local families and community in Runcorn.
“The nursery provides a homely, friendly atmosphere where children have the opportunity to learn and play, make new friends and be happy within a secure open plan education environment.
“We believe in children having the best start in life and welcome families to come and see this new facility.”
The nursery, which will open on Thursday September 1, also has plans to extend to create an out-of-school facility during next year.
