A DERELICT pub in Runcorn has been transformed into four flats and a lettings agency.
Owners husband and wife John and Helen Pass have converted and renovated the former New Inn on High Street into homes and a business.
“We wanted to reflect our modern approach to lettings through the stylish contemporary feel of our agency", said John Pass, director of HomeSmart Lettings.
"As local residents with over 30 years lettings and landlord experience in Runcorn we truly understand the local rental market."
"We believe that by specialising in lettings we can provide unrivalled customer service to landlords and tenants alike."
The agency has created four jobs and there are plans to appoint an apprentice shortly.
A celebration opening was held on Saturday, May 21.
The couple have been renting properties to people from families and students to retired couples since the 1980s.
“We have been delighted with the interest show in our new branch and look forward to serving the local community,” added John.
