Cheers went up around the ground as the China record of 2,958 was well and truly smashed.
Everyone taking part received free tickets to tonight’s Super League season opener with Wigan Warriors.
The event was organised in partnership with NHS Halton Clinical Commissioning Group and Halton Council to raise awareness about the importance of keeping track of your blood pressure.
