TWO men have been arrested in connection with a burglary at an industrial warehouse in Runcorn.
A huge haul of plastic worth more than £600,000 was stolen from AB Storage Limited in Manor Park between 4pm on Friday, February 21 and 7am on Monday, February 24.
Offenders escaped with 30 trailer loads of valuable synthetic beads packaged in 25 kilo white plastic bags.
Two men, aged 37 and 43, from the Skelmersdale area, were arrested on Thursday, March 6 on suspicion of handling stolen goods. They have subsequently been bailed pending further enquiries.
Some of the stolen items have since been recovered and enquiries are continuing.
A £50,000 reward is being offered by insurance investigators Wendt & Company.
