THIEVES who stole cash from a Widnes shop have been captured on CCTV.
Police have issued stills today in the hope that someone may be able to recognise the two men.
They burst into Martin’s newsagents in Bechers, Hough Green, at around 4.40pm, on Sunday, December 29.
The pair stole a quantity of cash from the till.
The first offender was wearing a dark jacket with a red drawstring toggle at the back, black, white and grey trainers and a grey hooded top under his jacket.
The second offender was wearing a green jacket and black, white and grey trainers.
Enquiries are ongoing and officers are currently following up a number of leads.
They are appealing for anyone who saw the incident or was in the area at the time and may have seen the offenders fleeing the scene to get in touch.
