ALL I want for Christmas is a flat in Liverpool, chart-topping pop star Nicola Roberts told The World this week.
The Girls Aloud singer revealed her festive wish as she opened a new theatre at Halton Hospital.
"I'm hoping to buy a flat in Liverpool," said Nicola, aged 21, of Runcorn, who shot to fame after winning ITV Popstars: The Rivals when she was aged only 17.
They became the first all girl band to clinch a Christmas number one with their first single.
"We've brought out our Greatest Hits album," said Nicola, a former St Chad's pupil. "It made number one, the girls are all really pleased."
She comes back from London, she said, whenever she gets a day off to be with her mum, dad, sister and younger brothers.
"I love spending time with my family, taking the kids out and watching telly on the couch," she said.
Girls Aloud will soon be recording their fifth album and go on tour in May.
