Campaign raises awareness about lung cancer
A GIANT pair of 12ft-high inflatable lungs will be visiting Runcorn and Widnes as part of lung cancer awareness month.
The lungs will be at Morrisons in Greenoaks Way, Widnes on Monday, November 4 and Runcorn Shopping Centre on Tuesday, November 5.
The event is run by the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation and Bridgewater Community Health Care NHS Trust.
It aims to raise awareness of the common signs and symptoms of the UK’s biggest cancer killer and improve early diagnosis of the disease.
The megaLungs will be at both events from 10am until 4pm.
