Will Arnett has filed for divorce from Amy Poehler more than 18 months after the comedians announced their separation, according to court records.
Will filed a divorce petition in Los Angeles Superior Court on April 8 citing irreconcilable differences. His filing seeks joint custody of the pair's two sons, who are aged three and five.
The actors announced they were separating in September 2012 after nine years of marriage.
They were married in 2003 and have maintained successful careers, with Amy starring in NBC's Parks And Recreation and Will starring in CBS' series The Millers.
The court filing was first reprted by People magazine.
